We should be inclusive

My Aspirations.
Looking at our beloved country Nigeria, you will agree with me that the youths are being deprived of their rightful position in the political arena, the youths are suppose to be in the Front line of political activities because they youths are the strong hold of any given society, if not giving the mantle of leadership today then when?
Our "Today’s Youths "need real opportunities to participate in political processes and contribute towards practical solutions that will bring advance development when given the opportunity to be among those whose opinion is heard on meaningful role in political decision making, young people constantly demonstrate their willingness and ability to foster positive, lasting change. They also become more likely to demand and defend democracy, and gain a greater sense of belonging.
Now my main concern is women's participation in politics. In our society today women are been considered as the weaker gender and being controlled and dominated by men thereby denying them the opportunity of participating and holding top positions in the society. Women are suppose to have dual citizenship thereby giving them the advantage of ruling in both places( Their hometown and that of their spouse), but reverse is the case, a woman will be deprived an opportunity from her people if it so happens that she got married out of her locality, where other part of the countries are far advanced, ours is still living in primitive.
Girls and women have a right to engage in civil society, vote in elections, be elected to government office, serve on boards, and make their voices heard in any process that will ultimately affect them, their families, and their communities. Investing in girls’ and women’s right to political participation is a necessary step to achieving global gender equality and democratic governance.
Investing in girls and women creates a ripple effect that yields multiple benefits in various ways not only for individual women, but also for families, communities, and countries.
My take :It is time for our youths to rise up and take up the mantle of leadership and correct those mistakes which we have tolerated and if not handled properly it will affect our tomorrows Generation's.
*It is time for our Leaders to eliminate structural and legal obstacles that hinder all girls' and women’s participation in politics and decision-making, and hold those obstructing them accountable.
*Our Leaders should create programs that will train our youth both women, and men on nation building, creating more awareness on girls' and women’s right to be inclusive in decision making that will better the lives of a common man and is immediate environment.
They say if you educate a man you educate an individual but if you educate a woman you educate a nation. Let me heard by saying "YOUTHS ARE TODAYS LEADERS". So my message to the youths, Rise up and figh logically for the time is now or never .
Thank you so much push hub
