       Wike appoints Hon. Chidi Amadi as Chief of staff To enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the Administration of the Federal Capital Territory, the FCT Minister,  Barrister Ezenwo Nyesom Wike  has appointed Hon. Chidi Amadi as his Chief of Staff. This was contained in a statement signed by the Director Press, office of the Minister,  Anthony Ogunleye  and made available to the media on Friday. Hon Amadi  has vast experience in public service and has held several strategic political positions including PDP Chairman of Obio /Akpor Local Government Area and Chief of Staff to the Governor of Rivers State. As Chief of Staff, Hon Amadi will play a pivotal role in supporting the FCT Minister in the formulation and execution of policies and programs aimed at advancing the development agenda of the Federal Capital Territory and will provide strategic guidance as well as ensuring the smooth functioning of the Minister's office. He will be sworn into office on Monday 18th of March

Carried out on the 26th of July, 2019 as part of the Board's decision to regrade and demote staff in arrant violation of the institution's condition of service and the edict establishing the College. In the Governing Board's wisdom, staff who were employed in their days of Ordinary National Diploma (OND) should not enjoy any benefit equivalent to their National Diploma (ND) and other counterparts. Alh. Dr. Ahmad Abdullahi Hassan in Karshi Development Area, Karu Local Government. The title translates as "Jewel of Uke". Hon. Kwanta Yakubu had commenced the engagement of stakeholders in the mining sector across the State with the objective to strengthen the capacity of artisanal miners through proper profiling for tailor made intervention,  especially among young miners who desire to explore and excavate to end a living the approach is to develop their capacity for productive and profitable mining to curb insecurity associated with mining activities.

Cryptic pregnancy

 Cryptic pregnancy occur and it has a rare case ,its situation where a woman is pregnant without being aware and no symptoms being shown in her body still she gives birth. Woman with tummy ache goes to toilet  and discovers she has given birth after seeing two feet in toilet. A 22-year-old woman had no idea she was pregnant until she went to the toilet, thinking she had a stomach ache, and saw a baby in the toilet bowl when she tried to flush. Lucy Jones, a trainee flight attendant thought her stomach ache was period pain after feeling unwell back in March. But while in bed the next morning, the 22-year-old said her tummy "flipped" and she dashed to the loo.  Factors Contributing To The High Cost Of Fertilizer In Nigeria. By Mala Abdulazeez Mohammed. Fertilizer companies in Nigeria have revealed that there are several reasons for the high price this year. They explained that as farmers continue to struggle with the cost of fertilizers, there are fears that it could hurt farmers by reducing the amount of crops they can produce this season. Abubakar Aliyu Haruna, president of the Nigerian Rice Growers Association, confirmed to reporters that the high cost of fertilizer will affect rice production in northern Nigeria this season. He said, "Last year, bags of fertilizers were bought at prices ranging from 7,000 to 10,000 Naira, but this year the price of fertilizer has reached 26,000 or 30,000 naira depending on the type." However, in response, some of the country's largest fertilizer companies have cited the reasons for the shortage and high cost of fertilizer in the country.  Corps Member Empower Widows, Donate Library to School in Yobe State A corps member serving at Al-Furqan Learners' Academy Potiskum, Yobe State, has trained and empowered twenty widows on Fashion design and Tailoring skills in an effort to eliminate poverty and unemployment amongst women in the society. The Corps member Chidimma Atuchukwu Obiageliaku who hails from Anambra state said the gesture was born out of her passion and desire to assist the vulnerable and less privileged in the society.   Delta Woman Narrates Emma Eregarnoma invited his mother, Mrs Oke Eregarnoma, to his house on Caroline Street, Okuokoko after he persuaded her that he had a surprise package for her. On getting there, she said she saw Emma in an unusual joyous mood, after he welcomed her in. He then increased the volume of his musical gadgets. Oke alleged that her son suddenly locked the door and made moves to strangle and pluck off her eyes, just as she screamed for help, adding that no one heard her due to the loud music. She said after fighting with his son for some minutes she regained her strength and ran outside for help, while neighbours came to her rescue. Mrs Oke Eregarnoma, while narrating her ordeal to journalists on a hospital bed where she was recuperating, recalled that before the attack, her son boasted that “he must drive GLK this week.
